DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGICAL AND BRAIN SCIENCES

The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences is home to undergraduate and graduate programs and world-class research in the family of sciences concerned with behavior, thought and experience.
At the core of our programs and activities is a scientific approach to understanding human nature and human experience. Our community of students, scholars and researchers includes Psychology majors (either a BA or BS track), majors in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience, graduate students in our research-focused MS program, approximately twenty full-time faculty members, and additional faculty expertise in a wide range of psychological science and practice. We work together in the classroom and on our research projects at the forefront of Psychology and Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience..

The department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at 裡橖眻畦 University invites applications for a continuing non-tenure track position (assistant teaching professor) in Psychology starting in August 2026. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Psychology or a closely related discipline. Area of specialization within the discipline is open, but candidates should be prepared to teach core courses for undergraduate majors (e.g., research methods, statistics) and introductory psychology, as well as courses in their area of specialization. Jake Caselli Awarded Fulbright to Canada
Jake Caselli 25, CBN major, was awarded a Fulbright U.S. Student Award to Canada. Jake will conduct research at McGill University in Montreal,under the auspices of Dr. Debra Titone, Canada Research Chair in psycholinguistics,on language mixing, flow states, and cognitive control. While at 裡橖眻畦, Jake completed a CBN honors thesis, entitled Event-Related Potential and Time-Frequency Analyses of EEG Data: Comparing Acoustic Change Detection and Adaptation, under the mentorship of Dr. Grant Berry....
