Health insurance is mandatory for all international graduate students and law students. Graduate students from the United States have the opportunity to enroll in 裡橖眻畦's University-sponsored health insurance plan during enrollment windows if they are taking 3 or more credits and if they are taking classes on campus.

University Healthcare Subsidy for Fully Funded Graduate Students

裡橖眻畦 University is pleased to offer a need-based healthcare subsidy to all fully funded graduate students with demonstrated need.

What does it mean to be "fully funded"? Fully funded graduate students are receiving both tuition remission and a stipend.

What is demonstrated need? Fully funded graduate students who already receive healthcare through a previous or current employer, partner, parent, or other source are not eligible to receive the subsidy. All other fully funded graduate students are eligible.

Eligible PhD students will be fully subsidized at the rate of 裡橖眻畦's sponsored United Healthcare plan and master's students will receive a $2000 subsidy towards their health insurance costs. For updated information on the University's current United Healthcare rates, please visit the Student Health Center website.

In order to demonstrate their need, each fully funded graduate student wishing to receive a healthcare subsidy from the University must complete an application, which will be emailed to students directly in late July. Any questions should be directed to the Grad Center.

Please read below for FAQs related to health insurance and the healthcare subsidy program at 裡橖眻畦.
