Dr. Rob Traver

Rob Traver, PhD, PE, D.WRE, F.EWRI, F.ASCE, a聽professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering in 柑橘直播 University鈥檚 College of Engineering, was honored this spring with two awards for his expertise in urban stormwater and contributions to the field.

The first, the AAWRE 2023 Outstanding Research & Innovation Award, was presented in March by the American Academy of Water Resources Engineers. The award recognized Dr. Traver for his outstanding body of work and involvement in advancing the scientific basis for resilient stormwater green infrastructure practices.

Dr. Traver鈥檚 second honor was the 2023 Philadelphia Civil Engineer of the Year Award, given in May by the Philadelphia Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers. Presented annually for remarkable accomplishments in the civil engineering profession, the award is the Philadelphia Section鈥檚 highest recognition.

An authority on water resources, flood control and green stormwater infrastructure, Dr. Traver is director of the 柑橘直播 Center for Resilient Water Systems and the 柑橘直播 Urban Stormwater Partnership. He has been a member of the 柑橘直播 Engineering faculty since 1988.
