INTERNAL TRANSFERS
First-year students in CLAS, Engineering, and Nursing are eligible to apply to transfer to the ¸ÌéÙÖ±²¥ School of Business in the spring of their first year. Applications will open on December 1 and close on March 1. Final decisions are not made until after spring grades are posted in May.ÌýÂ
Per university policy, if a student has transferred into ¸ÌéÙÖ±²¥ from another institution, the student may not apply as an internal transfer to VSB.
Program requirements: students seeking admission to VSB should review both the core requirements of the business school as well as the requirements of majors in the business school.Ìý
Application Requirements
Transferring to VSB is highly competitive.ÌýCompetitive applicants interested in transferring to VSB should have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.9 and have taken at least one class in a quantitative course listed below with a grade of at least A- at ¸ÌéÙÖ±²¥ (not including AP credits).ÌýLess than 25% of applicants were admitted to VSB last year.  Students not meeting this academic profile are strongly encouraged to consider the Summer Business Institute (SBI) or Academic-Year Business Minor.

Applicants will be notified after spring grades have been posted if they have been accepted into the program. At that time, accepted applicants will be provided with instructions for the next steps and course registration information.

Applications will open on December 1 and close on March 1. To access the application link, applicants must first complete a series of online information sessions through a Blackboard module. Only current ¸ÌéÙÖ±²¥ students may access the Blackboard module. Enrollment in the Blackboard module will take 1 - 3 business days after the request, and you will receive an email notification when you have been enrolled.
