DAVIS FUND FOR STUDENT EXPERIENCES
EXPERIENCE YOUR EDUCATION IN BIG WAYS
The Davis Fund for Student Experiences provides financial support for undergraduate and graduate students to pursue unique and exceptional learning experiences. Thanks to the generosity of Jim C. Davis ’81 VSB and Kim Davis, the Davis Fund makes grants to applicants who demonstrate opportunities to enhance their VSB education in exceptional ways. This may include conferences, research, independent study, case competitions, nonprofit service, global opportunities or something truly different. Challenge yourself—THINK BIG about your education and pursue experiences that help you accomplish more personally and professionally.
HOW TO APPLY
Complete an to apply for a grant from the Davis Fund for Student Experiences. This application must include your professional resume and a 250-word essay explaining how this grant will help you pursue your goals while aligning with the values of the ¸ÌéÙÖ±²¥ School of Business. You can also complete an optional essay to share an additional information with the Review Committee.

KEEP IN MIND
- Applications should be submitted at least three weeks prior to when funding is needed.
- Before submitting an application, students are strongly encouraged to read the Davis Fund for Student Experiences Handbook.
Education Abroad – must be submitted by:
- Fall semester – due by June 15
- Spring semester – due by October 15Â
- Summer & Maymester – due by March 15Â
- Must have demonstrated financial need confirmed by Office for Financial Assistance
- Only full-time VSB students are eligible
Internships (paid & unpaid):Â
- Must submit completed application by May 1
- Must have demonstrated financial need confirmed by Office for Financial Assistance
- PAID: Must submit offer letterÂ
- UNPAID: Employer must confirm USDOL criteriaÂ
